Tenmoku teaware is known for its iron-rich glazes, which create deep colors, glossy surfaces, and distinctive patterns. During firing, the iron in the glaze forms natural effects such as oil spots and hare’s fur streaks, making every piece uniquely beautiful.
Handcrafted Tenmoku tea cups, crafted through 13 meticulous artisan steps—from clay selection, shaping, wheel-throwing, trimming, glazing, to high-temperature firing (1300 Celcius)—each cup uniquely beautiful, durable, and perfect for tea lovers or collectors.
Handcrafted over more than 72 hours, each Tenmokus tea cup and bowl is created with careful attention to detail. Shaped, glazed, and finished by hand, every piece reflects the natural variations that make handmade ceramics distinctive and appreciated by tea enthusiasts around the world.
